Locations
I am the current pastor of:
The Maranatha Church (Weeks 1 & 3)
2614 Herman Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 3540,
The First United Seventh-day Adventist Church, (Weeks 2 & 4)
402 Vera Vista Ave, Eutaw, AL 35462,
Vision
By the grace of God, my vision for Maranatha is that the Holy Spirit will revive us, restore our love for Christ, and bring a refocus on our mission to make disciples. My prayer is that we will move from survival to spiritual renewal, from inward focus to outward mission, and from routine religion to a living active faith. Maranatha will become a praying church, a discipling church, and a compassionate church one that proclaims the everlasting gospel, reflects the character of Christ, and prepares a people to stand in the Parousia of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Passion
One of my passions aside from winning souls for the kingdom of God is remodeling. I truly love the art of transformation. I love people and I am fond of animals, specifically dogs. I enjoy a good thought-provoking conversation but am equally at peace spending quiet time in prayer. I don’t take myself too seriously I find time to laugh and enjoy the gift of life.
Family
I have been married to my beautiful and lovely wife Semonia for 16 years. I am a graduate of Oakwood University Huntsville Alabama. I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with an emphasis on Pastoral/Evangelism. I graduated cum laude with a GPA of 3.7. I am a current student enrolled in Southern University pursuing my master’s in Evangelism. Before being hired by the South-Central Conference, I served as an intern in various churches. I came to Oakwood University as a traditional student which has helped to shape my relationship with the younger generation. I enjoy reading, writing, research, fishing, and working out when I make the time.
